Sweet chili sauce
Ingredients
water........230 ml.sugar......100 g.
white wine vinegar..........60 ml.
chilli.............1 PC.
corn starch.........10 g..

Sweet chili sauce combines seemingly incompatible tastes - heat and sweetness. It is this combination that gives the sauce its special piquancy. This sauce is perfect for meat and vegetable dishes; it can be served with appetizers and used in cooking. And best of all, sweet chili sauce is super easy to make at home.Cooking steps
- Peel the chili pepper, remove the seeds and chop it finely (if you want a fiery hot sauce, leave the seeds).
- In a small saucepan, combine 200 ml water, sugar, chilli pepper, white wine vinegar. Place the pan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil.
- While the sauce is heating, mix 30ml water with the cornstarch in a bowl.
- When the sugar in the sauce dissolves and the water begins to boil strongly, while stirring the sauce, pour the starch solution into it in a thin stream.
- Stir the sauce constantly until it boils again and thickens.
- Remove the sauce from the heat and let cool. Store in a tightly sealed glass jar in the refrigerator.
